Fees and Cancellation Policy
Information about fees, bookings, cancellation, and related policies.
Fees
Complex neuropsychological assessments typically take between 12 and 25 hours in total, occasionally longer, depending on the complexity, challenges and the amount of documentation provided. This includes the review of documents provided, telehealth or face to face assessment (which usually takes around 5–6 hours), acquiring further documents if needed, telephone conversations with others such as the client’s family or medical/allied health team, the scoring and analysis of test data and questionnaires, report writing, follow-up phone calls, and feedback.
I do not charge a fee for travel as I do not have permanent rooms as an alternative for clients to attend, given most clients prefer telehealth.
Reports are generally provided within one week of assessment, however, I work flexibly around referrers’ timeframes, and can turn reports around within 3 days for urgent matters where this is arranged at the point of referral.

Policies & Procedures
Making a booking
Please contact me directly for a booking. For private referrals you don’t need a referral from a GP or specialist.
Payment Policy
For private individuals, payment of 50% of my minimum fee of $3,300 is required to secure the appointment, and the full fee is to be paid prior to the release of the report and feedback. For organisations, payment is required prior to the release of the report, unless under exceptional circumstances, whereupon payment is required within 15 days.
Confidentiality
Issues of confidentiality are governed by the Psychology Board of Australia Code of Conduct.
Medicare & Health Insurance
Neuropsychology assessments are not covered under Medicare.
Some private health insurers may provide partial rebates for clinical neuropsychological assessment under extras cover—we recommend contacting your insurer directly to confirm your entitlements. You will receive an invoice and receipt including a provider number that you can submit to your insurance company.
Cancellation Policy
If a client is unable to keep an appointment, please call to cancel as soon as possible. Given the lengthy time taken for an assessment and report writing, 3 days’ time is put aside for each client. I charge a cancellation fee if the appointment is not cancelled at least 4 business days in advance; without this notice I am usually unable to fill the appointment given the time commitment required from clients.
This fee varies depending on the circumstances and the funding source, but in general a fee of 100% of my base fee of $3,300 is charged for cancellations within 2 business days of the appointment, and cancellations within 4 business days incurs a 50% fee. Any cancellations prior to 4 business days is eligible for a full refund of any deposit paid.
Interpreter Service
Professional interpreter services will be arranged as needed. Please note that however well-intentioned, family members and friends are not an appropriate substitute for a professional interpreter.
